Where do we meet — do we drive to the river ourselves?
Everyone meets at our River Center in Horseshoe Bend. Check in there, gear up, and we'll shuttle you to the put-in — no need to find the river on your own. Just get yourself to the River Center and we handle the rest.
Which trip is best for first-timers coming from the Treasure Valley?

What time should we leave home?
Give yourself roughly 45 minutes to an hour of drive time plus a little buffer, and aim to arrive 30 minutes before your launch to check in and gear up. We'll send exact meeting times when you book.
Can we do it as a half-day and still get back the same day?
Absolutely. Our half-day Main Payette trips are perfect for Treasure Valley families — you can be on the river in the morning and back home by afternoon. Full-day options are available too if you want to make a bigger day of it.
What should we bring?
Wear a swimsuit and secure sandals or shoes that can get wet, and bring a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes for the drive home. We provide all the gear — life jacket, helmet, paddle, and a wetsuit when needed.
