Lucca is from Connecticut and has developed a strong passion for the outdoors through years of hiking as well as exploring other outdoor sports like caving, climbing, and going on rafting trips in Canada. He began working at Cascade in 2026. Outside of the main season, Lucca is a full time student at UMass Amherst studying Wildlife Ecology but still manages to find time to hike, climb, or hone his wildlife photography skills. He much prefers to be behind the lens but will step in front when needed. Lucca loves to travel and even got to witness an active volcano eruption. He also hopes to eventually hike all three major National Scenic Trails in the U.S.
