Henry is a first generation outdoors person from Brandon Vermont. It wasn’t until adulthood that he truly discovered a passion for the outdoors. Growing up he was an avid upright bass player. His biggest discovered passion so far is kayaking and backpacking. He plans to finish a bachelors of science degree in outdoor education with Vermont State University in December of 2026. In the off season you can find him skiing, ice climbing, and backpacking in the White and Green Mountains. The 2026 season is his first with Cascade after working the last 5 years in Western Massachusetts paddlesports instructing and raft guiding. He’s looking forward to what the Payette and river culture in Idaho and the west have to offer.
