Avery was born and raised in Bend, Oregon where he found his love for rivers. He grew up paddling with his dad who introduced him to rivers. In high school, he eventually made his way to World Class Kayak Academy where he dialed in his whitewater skills while traveling the world with his friends. This will be his first year with Cascade and he is so excited! He is equally excited to paddle the Payette with the Banks community. In his free time you can find him paddling the rivers of the Pacific Northwest or skiing at Mount Baker.
