Michelle was born and raised in Florida where outdoor time consisted mostly of hopping over gators while hiking and flat water kayaking. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, Michelle moved out west for skiing and ended up falling in love with whitewater kayaking on The Green River while working for the National Outdoor Leadership School in Utah. Michelle is stoked to work her first summer river guiding with Cascade. When she’s not playing around in rivers, Michelle enjoys playing tennis, stamp carving, giving friends haircuts and hanging out with her cat.
