Born and raised on the rivers of Alaska, Anna moved to the Lower 48 in 2020 where she has been hopping around different states since then. She graduated from college in Utah with a degree in rock licking and water studying, and her favorite place to be is on the river. When she’s not floating on the water, she’s probably backpacking pounds of rock samples out of the mountains, scaring away all the fish in the river, or lizarding on a rock in the sunshine. Her winters have been spent dog sledding, snowmachining (snowmobiling as they’re called down here), and skiing. She’s stoked to spend her first year guiding here at Cascade!
