Ethan is a Boise local who spends most of his time in the mountains. He’s spent countless hours exploring the foothills, the Sawtooths, the Owyhees, and beyond as well as international destinations like Peru and Thailand. Before raft guiding he was a backcountry wilderness guide, focusing primarily on backpacking and primitive skills. Ethan started guiding for Cascade Raft & Kayak in 2025. In the off season he works at the local ski resort and climbing gym.
