Kayak School
Located on the banks of the beautiful Payette River,
Cascade Kayak School is in the heart of Idaho's famous whitewater.
The river becomes an amazing classroom when combined with our staff
of exceptional teaching professionals. Under the direction of Tom
Long
and Chad Long, our kayak staff brings with them years
of experience and a passion for teaching. This tradition
of excellence attracts top instructors to our school, including
renowned slalom and freestyle athletes and coaches. At Cascade Kayak
School, we use a proven teaching progression that quickly develops
your kayaking competence with the primary goal of promoting safety.
Our diverse staff of paddling professionals will

at ease while our 3-to-1 student to instructor ratio will always
ensure individual attention. Classes and lessons focus on proper
technique to create a solid foundation
to base your kayaking progress. Our instruction will help you improve
