Our full-day trips use washable plastic plates, significantly reducing waste when compared with paper or styrofoam. Speaking of washing, our river center includes a state-of-the-art system for reusing greywater, reducing both waste water and water consumption. Order a sandwich or wrap from the Rio Cafe and you can enjoy organic home-grown veggies straight from our riverside garden. E-mail communication and digital media have encouraged us to move toward a paperless office.
