River Raft and Railroad
After checking in for this excursion at the Cascade Raft River Center,
we will shuttle you to the train depot in Horseshoe Bend to board the Thunder
Mountain Line. This scenic mountain train excursion will
give you glimpses if Idaho’s abundant wildlife as it winds alongside
the bank of the Payette River. Be transported back to a time when folks moved
at a slower pace and appreciated the simpler things of life.
For the return trip, hop off the train, grab a paddle, and dive into the
fun as you encounter whitewater excitement around every river bend. Cascade Raft
provides the equipment, guides and expertise to bring adventure and safety to
this class II-III splashy getaway, an adventure of approximately 3 1/2 hours.
